We met on a dating app. How romantic! But it was. We hit it off immediately discussing our love for math and science.

We met in person for the first time in July 2017. Marc, under the cloak of secrecy (AKA Jake was still stuck in the closet), flew down and spent a week at Jake’s.

Our first date was to Longhorn Steakhouse and watching a new episode of Game of Thrones.

We felt a key to falling in love with each other were our very similar families and friends. We both fit in immediately with our families. We also fell in love with each of our love to travel and see the world.

In November 2018, we made the decision to move in together and Marc moved to Tampa.

On June 23rd, 2020, Jake left the house for work, dogless, then returned home to Kye. Our loveable idiot has been with us since.

On November 24th, 2022, Thanksgiving morning, Jake took Marc for a walk around the lake at his Aunt and Uncles property and asked the question.
